At the VBA 2020 Press Conference on October 6, 2020, Thang Long Warriors officially announced Audi Vietnam to become the title sponsor of the team in the 2020 season. The team will now be renamed to Thang Long Warriors by Audi on all platforms. Additionally, the new logo will feature Audi logo along with the signature t-rex logo.
By continuously partnering up with prestigious sport leagues and teams, such as VBA 2016 – 2019, Saigon Heat in ABL 2018 – 2019, the Vietnam National Basketball Team in SEA Games 30 in 2019 in the Philippines, Audi Vietnam has been a great companion with Thang Long Warriors as the Title Sponsor from the very first day of the team in VBA. Audi Vietnam has officially became the Title Sponsor for Thang Long Warriors in VBA 2020.

The Vietnam Basketball Association (VBA) was founded in 2016. After five successful years, they now officially have seven teams from five different cities to compete in the league. The season will starts on October 15, 2020 and is planned to finish in mid-December. There will be a maximum of 53 games, consisting of regular season, playoffs and finals. Due to COVID-19, all games will be held at Studio S4 - Zoom Media, 44/1 Tân Thới Nhất 8 Street, Tân Thới Nhất Ward, District 12, HCMC. The games are not open to public and will only be streamed via TV and a few online platforms.
The first game of Thang Long Warriors is at 7 p.m. October 16, 2020, against Hanoi Buffaloes. This is considered an intense and thrilling match between the two teams of the capital.
